Playing in a nature friendly way

This project was started by ARGUS (the environmental point of KBC and Cera) in collaboration with Inverde. Playing in a nature friendly way is the big brother of the well-known project Playing in a forest friendly way.

The project’s aim is to start specific training for youth workers on the one hand and nature conservationists on the other hand.

Playing in a nature friendly way is not always easy. In order to avoid damaging nature it is important to know the places in nature that are vulnerable and those that are not, which play material is approved for use in nature and how to organise a nature friendly activity.

Questions on youth work arise within the nature sector. The youth workers’ training is developed rather in the sense of ‘guide to youth work’. Everyone is convinced that playing in nature must be possible, given that it is done in a ‘friendly’ way.

If you wish to be informed on this project, our site gives you a regular update. Petra Detienne, project manager at Inverde will answer more specific questions.
